Ellis and I departed Lilongwe on Thursday and arrived 35 hours later in Greenville. We are excited to be home, thankful for safe travels, and joyful to be reunited with family and friends. I am glad to high speed internet so that we can share some images with you from beautiful Embangweni and will begin with more general images to give you a feel for the town and the people. We are adjusting back to summer humidity, air conditioning, and driving everywhere in cars. It is strange to miss walking to get where you need to go, the screens on the windows so that you always hear the noises around you, the smell of fire, the taste of water boiled over fire, the dryness in the air, the warm sun even in the midst of winter, the music of daily chapel, the crowing of the rooster, ringing of the bell to begin the day, the quiet of bicycles and oxen cart rolling along the roads and the rising and setting of the sun to mark your day
